On Sept. 12, our little family went down to Arizona to hear my younger brother Ryan give his mission homecoming talk. He got home from his mission in Puerto Rico on Aug. 21 and Kellene and I flew down as well for that special occasion. Kellene got to meet her Uncle Ryan for the first time. He won her over pretty quick when he was playing with her and he took her hand and put her whole hand up to her wrist in his mouth at one time and pretended he was eating it.
After Ryan's homecoming talk, we all headed down to Santo Tomas, Mexico, where my parents own a beach house with some of their friends. It was a great week that we got to spend with Grammy and Grandpa Bangart, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Lindsay (keith's wife) and cousin Hannah, Aunt Julie, Uncle Rich and cousin Isabella and good family friends, Jim and Heather Olsen and their 5 year old son, Kaden, who Kellene has a giant crush on!

We drove up the beach about 15 miles one day to a little town to eat lunch and found a little place named after my mom.
