I went out today to find Kellene some new dress shoes since her feet have grown. I needed a pair that would match a new cute pink and gray dress I got her and some brown shoes for her other dresses. The brown shoes were no problem to find, but some for the pink and grey dress were a little harder, that is until I came across these, at 2 years old, her first pair of high heels, her Aunt Julie will be soooo proud!
She can even run in them, which is more than I could do in a pair of heels!

Blankee + Bath=
Last night as Daddy took Kellene up to her bath, she was clinging to her blankee. She started to cry as Daddy took the blankee away and put her in the bath. I finally came up stairs to see what the problem was because it sounded like her "hurt cry". After Daddy told me what the problem was, I got one of her blankees out of her laundry basket that was waiting to be washed and saved the day!
ALL BETTER!

2 Little Screamers
While my friend Jen and I were in the car the other day with the kids, Kellene and Paul decided to have a little screaming contest to pass the time.

It's all about him!
After a long and tiring job search, Nate finaly got a new job. After almost 9 years with UPS, his last day will be on Tues. Oct. 14 and we couldn't be happier! He starts his new job with Schneider National trucking company on Oct. 20, as a driver manager. This gets him out of the dead end job at UPS and into a great company with tons of opportunity for advancment.
Good job sweetie, I am so proud of you!
What is his name? Nathan Melvin Robinson
Nicknames? I call him Moose or Mooseyman or if I am lazy, jus Mo
(It comes from his bullwinkle impression that he can do, it's amazing)
How long have you been married? 6 years and 5 months
How long did you date?I guess it was 3 months and 1 day from the day we met for the first time until he proposed, we were married 2 months later
Who eats more sweets? Not really sure, He definitely eats more chocolate
Who said "I love you" first? I think we both said it at the same time
Who is taller? He is by 4 inches
Who can sing better? I think we both stink equally
Who is smarter? Now how do you answer this one without making the other person feel bad, so we are both smart in different ways!
Who does the laundry? We both do. If he is out of clothes for work, he doesn't say anything, just grabs a load of his work clothes and throws them in, he even irons his own stuff, I love that!!!
Who pays the bills? He does, he is much better and budget stuff and I am much better and spending
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? When you standing at the foot of the bed - I am. If you are laying down on your back - he does.
Who mows the lawn? The lawn company our HOA pays since we live in a town home complex
Who cooks dinner? I do 99% of the time. Nate was not blessed with culinary skills. When we were first married, he managed to screw up boxed mac and cheese.
Who drives? When we're together I do most of the time. He drives like a grandpa and it drives me nuts!
Who is more stubborn? We both are stubborn, but I am probably and a little worse
Who kissed who first? He kissed me first - On our second date in the swimming pool at his apartment complex, in the deep end of the pool. He pulled me in for a kiss and then let go of the side of the pool and we both got a mouth full of water. I thought it was so cute, his face turned so red. H redeemed himself and couple seconds later and this time didn't let go of the side.
Who asked who out first? It was a mutual thing. We met on and LDS singles web site and I lived in Az at the time and he was in Ut. I told him I was coming up for a ski trip and we met on a blind date at the mouth of big cottonwood canyon for a day of skiing, and later dinner and a movie. Our 1st date lasted 16 hours.
Who proposed? He did - down on both knees at the top of Snow King Mountain in Jackson Hole, Wy while we were skiing. He was so nervous he pulled of the glove on my right hand, I quickly helped him out and asked if he wanted the other hand instead.
Who has more siblings? I do, I have 3 and he has 2.
Who wears the pants? I think we share this responsibility.
One of his best qualities... He is an amazing dad. He loves Kellene so much and is so great with her. She definently loves her daddy!

"NO!!!!"
I have been lucky up until now, Kellene finally started telling me NO! yesterday to certain simple requests, like getting dressing, putting on shoes, taking a bath and so on. I think it is funny and cute right now, but I'm sure that will change.
